Hi all, thank you for visiting my site.
Unfortunately after setting this site up 3 years ago, many things have happened that were out of my control.
While at work one of my discs impinge on a nerve root on my spine creating sciatic nerve damage.
This action left me unable to walk.
I had moved back to my elderly mother's house to look after her, or she me, and that's where I created Paulsworkshop. PLEASE NOTE- when searching youtube use Paulsworkshop and not confuse me with Pauls workshop, ty.
I am now getting better and in the process of setting up a youtube website under the same name, Paulsworkshop.
My Mother died aged 82 nov 2019 so have tried to negotiate with 4 half siblings and 2 sisters to purchase my mother's estate. Unfortunately money means more to them so i'm in a court process to be evicted by them.
When all that is over I hope to start my workshop up again and noo this is not a call for donations.

I'm uploading pic's as I progress, My aim is to forge Knives and hammer heads but in the meantime i'm making all the machines and hardware I will need to accomplish this project.
Once I have completed my forge block I will upload my progress on my furnace.
If you are watching I plan to make a dedicated linisher for knife making & also the different tools associated with making hammer heads, i.e tool posts, drifts chisels, hammer punches & also the forge tongs needed to accommodate the different shapes and sizes.

Restoring old tools & machines is a favorite of mine, working with wood and metal go hand in hand.
I make flintlock pistols, wooden toys, gifts.
I collect old hammers all shapes and sizes.
